Customising FireFox android

FireFox is the most customisable and powerful browser in android market. You can customise your firefox mobile just the way you can customise your pc version

Just launch your FireFox mobile and click FireFox : Customize. This shortcut is also avaliable in BookMark Tab.

FireFox Add-Ons consists of themes and add-ons. Add-ons are like software which are installed inside firefox for extra features. Few of the add-ons which I like are












  1. save as addon. it displays a "save as" link on selection menu, very helpful
  2. console menu. adds console menu in FireFox menu. Works same as console mode in developers tools in firefox
  3. view html addon. It is used to  view html of the current page. As far as i know, no other browser in android market have this function. So its very helpful for developers
  4. Flash video downloader addon. Downloads every video,file which is being loaded in page. You can also download the videos that are played in the browser.



Although themes only changes images in url bar, but still it looks nice while opening menu




just click Add to Firefox, and wait a few seconds after that you will be prompted to restart firefox. Aftart restarting firefox. Flash Video Downloader will be avaliable in your plugins.

How to use Flash Video Downloader :

Its simple and easy. Just open any page with a video player. play video. As soon as video starts buffering, you will see a blue arrow at bottom corner, click it. You might see multiple videos. Select the video you want. Mostly website have multiple videos on one page with different quality. Flash Video Downloader might also fetch advertisement videos or game flash files.
